51A Agreements relating to National Heritage places
The Minister may enter into a bilateral agreement containing a provision relating to a National Heritage place only if:
the Minister is satisfied that the agreement is not inconsistent with the National Heritage management principles; and
the Minister is satisfied that the agreement is not inconsistent with any plan prepared for the management of the place under section 324S or as mentioned in section 324X; and
the Minister is satisfied that the agreement is not inconsistent with any agreement to which the Commonwealth is party in relation to the National Heritage place; and
the provision meets the requirements (if any) prescribed by the regulations.
The Minister may accredit a management or authorisation framework under section 46 for the purposes of a bilateral agreement containing a provision relating to a National Heritage place only if the Minister is satisfied that the framework is not inconsistent with any of the following:
the National Heritage management principles;
any plan prepared for the management of the place under section 324S or as mentioned in section 324X;
any agreement to which the Commonwealth is party in relation to the National Heritage place.
