If the Secretary decides to suspend an approved arrangement, or a part of an approved arrangement, under this Division, the Secretary must give the holder of the approved arrangement a written notice stating the following:

that the approved arrangement, or the part of the approved arrangement, is to be suspended;

the reasons for the suspension;

the date the suspension is to start;

the period of the suspension.

The notice must also state the matters referred to in section 382.

If the holder of the approved arrangement was given a notice (a show cause notice) under subsection 171(2) that included the request referred to in paragraph 171(3)(c), the suspension must not start before the earlier of the following:

the day after any response to the request is received by the Secretary;

the end of 14 days after the show cause notice was given.
