Application for export licence

In force

(1)

A person may apply to the Secretary for an export licence to carry out a kind of export operations in relation to a kind of prescribed goods.

(2)

An application:

(a)

may relate to more than one kind of export operations and more than one kind of prescribed goods; and

(b)

may, but is not required to, specify one or more places to which the goods are to be exported.

Note 1:

The export of a kind of prescribed goods may be prohibited unless the exporter holds an export licence that covers the export of goods of that kind (see section 29 and rules made for the purposes of that section).

Note 2:

Section 377 sets out requirements for applications.
