Export Control Act 2020

If an export licence is suspended under section 203, the holder of the licence may request the Secretary to revoke the suspension.

A request under subsection (1) must:

be in writing; and

state the reason for the request; and

include any other information prescribed by the rules.

If the Secretary receives a request from the holder of an export licence under subsection (1), the Secretary may:

if the Secretary is satisfied that the reason for the suspension no longer exists and there is no reason why the suspension should not be revoked—revoke the suspension by written notice to the holder; or

in any other case:

suspend the licence under Division 2 of this Part; or

revoke the licence under Division 2 of Part 6.

A decision to suspend or revoke the export licence is a reviewable decision (see Part 2 of Chapter 11).
