196 Death of candidate
In spite of anything in the rules of an organisation or branch of an organisation, where:
(a)
2 or more candidates are nominated for an election in relation to an office in the organisation or branch; and
(b)
one of those candidates dies before the close of the ballot;
the election must be discontinued and a new election held.
