40 Scheme for amalgamation
There is to be a scheme for every proposed amalgamation.
The scheme must contain the following matters:
a general statement of the nature of the amalgamation, identifying the existing organisations concerned and indicating:
if one of the existing organisations is the proposed amalgamated organisation—that fact; and
if an association proposed to be registered as an organisation is the proposed amalgamated organisation—that fact and the name of the association; and
the proposed de‑registering organisations;
if it is proposed to change the name of an existing organisation—particulars of the proposed change;
if it is proposed to alter the eligibility rules of an existing organisation—particulars of the proposed alterations;
if it is proposed to alter any other rules of an existing organisation—particulars of the proposed alterations;
if an association is proposed to be registered as an organisation—the eligibility and other rules of the association;
such other matters as are prescribed.
Subsection (2) does not limit by implication the matters that the scheme may contain.
