50 Notification of AEC
(1)
Where an application is lodged under section 44 in relation to a proposed amalgamation, the General Manager must immediately notify the AEC of the application.
(2)
On being notified of the application, the AEC must immediately take such action as it considers necessary or desirable to enable it to conduct as quickly as possible any ballots that may be required in relation to the amalgamation.
