176F Legal allowance
(1)
The witness is entitled to a payment (the legal allowance) towards meeting the legal costs and disbursements that the witness reasonably incurs for a lawyer to represent the witness at the specified place.
(2)
The amount of the legal allowance is an amount calculated using the costs for general federal law proceedings set out in the Federal Circuit Court Rules 2001, as in force on 2 May 2017.
