102QC Notification of vexatious proceedings orders

(1)

A person may request the appropriate court official of a court for a certificate stating whether a person named in the request is or has been the subject of a vexatious proceedings order made by the court.

(2)

If a person makes a request under subsection (1) and the person named in the request is or has been the subject of a vexatious proceedings order made by the court, the appropriate court official must issue to the person making the request a certificate:

(a)

specifying the date of the order; and

(b)

specifying any other information prescribed by the applicable Rules of Court.

(3)

This section is subject to any law of the Commonwealth, or order of the court, restricting the publication or disclosure of the name of a party to proceedings in the court.

Note:

Section 155 of the Evidence Act 1995 deals with adducing evidence of Commonwealth records.
