68M Order that child be made available for examination
This section applies if an independent children’s lawyer is appointed to independently represent a child’s interests in relation to proceedings under this Act.
The court may, on application by the independent children’s lawyer, order a person mentioned in subsection (3) to make the child available, as specified in the order, for an examination to be made for the purpose of preparing a report about the child for use by the independent children’s lawyer in connection with the proceedings.
The order may be directed to:
a parent of the child; or
a person with whom the child is to live under a parenting order; or
a person with whom the child is to spend time under a parenting order; or
a person with whom the child is to communicate under a parenting order; or
a person who has parental responsibility for the child.
