70NDA Court may issue warrant for arrest of alleged offender
The court may issue a warrant authorising a person to whom it is addressed to arrest the respondent if:
a child‑related order that is a parenting order provides that a child is to live with, spend time with or communicate with a person (the complainant); and
the court is satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for believing that the respondent has contravened the order on any of the grounds mentioned in any of items 1 to 3 of the table in subsection 70NAC(2); and
the issue of the warrant is necessary to ensure that the respondent will attend before the court to be dealt with under this Division for the alleged contravention.
A warrant stops being in force on the date specified in the warrant (which must be no more than 6 months after the issue of the warrant).
