10.25 Service by filing
The filing of a document has effect as service of the document on the person to be served if:
(a)
personal service of the document is not required; and
(b)
the person to be served:
(i)
has not filed an address for service; or
(ii)
does not have a current address for service; and
(c)
the document was sent to the person’s proper address and there is proof of non‑delivery of the document.
Note:
Proper address, for a person to be served, is defined in the Dictionary.
