21 Registrable activities: activities in Australia for the purpose of political or governmental influence
An activity that a person undertakes on behalf of a foreign principal is registrable in relation to the foreign principal if:
the activity is covered by an item in the table; and
the foreign principal is the kind of foreign principal specified for the activity in the table; and
the person is not exempt under Division 4 in relation to the activity.

A single activity undertaken by a person may be covered by more than one item of the table in subsection (1). If it is, the scheme applies in relation to the activity as covered by each such item.
