3 Objects
The objects of this Act are:
to provide for the administration of certain Australian government superannuation schemes, including military schemes, by a single body; and
to ensure that when performing a function under:
a determination made under Part IIIAA of the Defence Act 1903; or
the Defence Force Retirement and Death Benefits Act 1973; or
the Defence Forces Retirement Benefits Act 1948; or
the Military Superannuation and Benefits Act 1991; or
the Australian Defence Force Superannuation Act 2015; or
the Australian Defence Force Cover Act 2015;
CSC has regard to the unique nature of military service, as recognised by the schemes established by or under those Acts.
