23DZA Commencement and duration of remote area exemption
(1)
A remote area exemption comes into force, or is taken to have come into force, on the day it is granted, or on such earlier or later commencing day as is specified in it.
(2)
The Minister must not specify a commencing day in a remote area exemption that is earlier than the day the application for the exemption was received.
(3)
Subject to section 23DZC, a remote area exemption stays in force for 3 years, or for any shorter period specified in it.
(4)
The Minister may specify as a shorter period for which the remote area exemption stays in force a period that has ended before the day the exemption is granted.
