48 Commonwealth records
(1)
This Part does not authorise a Commonwealth record (within the meaning of the Archives Act 1983) to be transferred or otherwise dealt with except in accordance with the provisions of that Act.
(2)
A Commonwealth record (within the meaning of the Archives Act 1983) must not be transferred to a person under this Part unless the Australian Archives has given permission under paragraph 24(2)(b) of the Archives Act 1983.
(3)
If the nominated company is Commission‑owned, the Archives Act 1983 has effect as if the nominated company were a Commonwealth‑controlled company (within the meaning of that Act).
