36 Functions of the CEO
The CEO is responsible for the day‑to‑day administration of Housing Australia.
The CEO has power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done for or in connection with the performance of his or her duties.
The CEO is to act in accordance with policies and strategies determined by the Board.
The Board may give written directions to the CEO, not inconsistent with any direction given to the Board under Division 2 of Part 2 of this Act, or Part 3 of the Help to Buy Act 2024, about the performance of the CEO’s duties.
The CEO must comply with a direction under subsection (4).
A direction under subsection (4) is not a legislative instrument.
