Industrial Relations (Consequential Provisions) Act 1988

Where, under this Act, a provision of the previous Act continues to operate, or continues to operate in particular circumstances, after the commencement, any other provisions of the previous Act, and any provisions of the regulations made under that Act, that are necessary for the effectual operation of that first‑mentioned provision also continue to operate.

Where:

under this Act (including subsection (1)), a provision of the previous Act continues to operate, or continues to operate in particular circumstances, after the commencement; and

the provision imposes a penalty for a contravention of that or another provision;
