12 Procedure if complaint not pursued
If a person makes a complaint in relation to action taken by an intelligence agency that the Inspector‑General decides not to inquire into, or not to inquire further into, the Inspector‑General must:
(a)
take reasonable steps to notify the person in writing of the decision; and
(b)
notify the responsible Minister and the head of the agency in writing of the decision.
