41 Obligations before entering premises or boarding transport vehicle
(1)
Before entering premises or boarding a transport vehicle under this Division, a person must take reasonable steps to:
(a)
identify himself or herself to the controller of the premises or transport vehicle; and
(b)
notify the controller of the purpose of the entry; and
(c)
produce his or her identity card for inspection by the controller.
(2)
A person is not entitled to exercise any powers under this Division in relation to premises or a transport vehicle if the person fails to comply with the requirement under subsection (1).
