34 Notification of prudential standards
(1)
APRA must ensure that a notice is published in the Gazette as soon as practicable after APRA makes, varies or revokes a prudential standard.
(2)
The notice must:
(a)
specify whether APRA made, varied or revoked a prudential standard; and
(b)
in the case of the making or varying of a prudential standard—summarise the purpose and effect of the prudential standard or variation.
(3)
APRA must take reasonable steps to ensure that copies of the current text of the prudential standards are available for inspection and purchase.
(4)
An action is not invalid merely because of a failure to comply with this section.
