13E Director‑General of ASIS to be satisfied of certain matters
The Director‑General of ASIS must be satisfied that:
(a)
there are satisfactory arrangements in place to ensure that activities will be undertaken in accordance with section 13B only for the specific purpose of supporting ASIO in the performance of its functions; and
(b)
there are satisfactory arrangements in place to ensure that the nature and consequences of acts done in accordance with section 13B will be reasonable, having regard to the purposes for which they are carried out.
