38 Registration of authorising documents

(1)

As soon as practicable, and, in any event, within 28 days, after an authorising document is made or given, or is varied or revoked, the Secretary of the Department, shall cause to be lodged with the Registrar‑General, Registrar of Titles or other proper officer of the State or Territory in which the land to which the document relates is situated, a memorandum setting out particulars of the document, or of the variation or revocation, as the case may be.

(2)

The officer with whom the memorandum is lodged may make such entries in the records kept by the officer as the officer thinks appropriate.
