Leases Ordinance 1992 (Jervis Bay Territory)

Without limiting the generality of section 7, a lease may be granted containing a condition or agreement that the rate at which rent is payable for a period of the lease may be determined by the Minister.

If a lease is granted subject to a condition referred to in subsection (1) the Minister may determine the rate accordingly.

Subject to any variation made under section 10, the rate determined under subsection (2) for a period of the lease is the rate at which the lessee must pay rent for that period.
