2 Purpose
This Order specifies STCW Convention standards of competence to be attained and other STCW Convention conditions to be satisfied by a person to be a qualified master or deck officer under the Navigation Act for a regulated Australian vessel that is a yacht.
This Order is to be read with Marine Order 70 (Seafarer certification) 2014.
