11 Disclosure of information
(1)
This section applies to information (including personal information, within the meaning of the Privacy Act 1988), obtained by the Authority at any time (whether before or after the commencement of this section) and by any means, including information required to be given to the Authority by law.
(2)
The Authority may disclose the information to any person, subject to such terms and conditions (if any) as the Authority specifies, for any of the following purposes:
(a)
maritime domain awareness, including maritime security;
(b)
maritime safety;
(c)
protection of the marine environment;
(d)
efficiency of maritime transportation.
