10F Meaning of relevant interference

(1)

Each of the following is a relevant interference with an asset:

(a)

interference (whether direct or indirect) with the availability of the asset;

(b)

interference (whether direct or indirect) with the integrity of the asset;

(c)

interference (whether direct or indirect) with the reliability of the asset;

(d)

interference (whether direct or indirect) with the confidentiality of:

(i)

information about the asset; or

(ii)

if information is stored in the asset—the information; or

(iii)

if the asset is computer data—the computer data.

(2)

Each of the following is a relevant interference with the operation of a maritime industry participant:

(a)

interference (whether direct or indirect) with the availability of the operation of the participant;

(b)

interference (whether direct or indirect) with the integrity of the operation of the participant;

(c)

interference (whether direct or indirect) with the reliability of the operation of the participant;

(d)

interference (whether direct or indirect) with the confidentiality of information relating to the operation of the participant.
