39M Evidence of registration etc

A certificate, signed by the Registrar of Marriage Celebrants, stating that, at a specified time, or during a specified period:

(a)

a person was registered as a marriage celebrant; or

(b)

a person’s registration as a marriage celebrant was suspended; or

(c)

a person was not registered as a marriage celebrant; or

(d)

a person was identified as a religious marriage celebrant on the register of marriage celebrants; or

(e)

a person was not identified as a religious marriage celebrant on the register of marriage celebrants;

is prima facie evidence of that fact.
