42C Application of this Part
(1)
This Part applies to individuals, and activities carried on by them that are covered by occupations.
(2)
If, in relation to an activity covered by an occupation, an individual is subject to:
(a)
more than one system of registration in a State; or
(b)
more than one local registration authority in a State;
this Part applies in relation to each of those systems of registration or each of those authorities.
References to States

A reference in this Part to a State does not include a reference to a pre‑adoption State, unless the expression “any State” is used.
