195 Manner of giving notice or other document
If this Code requires or permits a notice or other document to be given to a person who is a debtor, mortgagor or guarantor, the appropriate address of the person is:
an address nominated in writing by that person to the person giving the notice or other document; or
if there is no such nomination, the address of the place of residence of that person last known to the person giving the notice or other document.
A nominated address may be an electronic address.
An appropriate address of any other person is:
an address nominated in writing by that person to the person giving the notice or other document; or
the address of the place of residence or business of that person last known to the person giving the notice or other document.
A nominated address may be an electronic address.
If a person nominates an address under paragraph (1)(a) or (2)(a), the person may, by notice in writing to the person giving the notice or other document referred to in subsection (1), change the nominated address or cancel the nomination.
A nomination under this section ceases to have effect if it is cancelled by the person who made it.
