22 Offence for noncompliance
(1)
A credit provider must not:
(a)
enter into a credit contract that contravenes a requirement of this Division; or
(b)
otherwise contravene a requirement of this Division.
Criminal penalty: 100 penalty units.
(2)
Subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability.
Note:
For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code.
(3)
Subsection (1) does not apply to a contravention of a requirement of section 18B.
