176 Giving certain information to the Ministerial Council

(1)

As soon as practicable after giving a direction to the Agency under section 121 or a statement to the Board under section 125, the Minister must give a copy of the direction or statement to the Ministerial Council.

(2)

As soon as practicable after any of the following events happens to a person, the Minister must tell the Ministerial Council that the event has happened to the person:

(a)

appointment of the person as:

(i)

the Chair or another member of the Board; or

(ii)

the Principal Member or another member of the Advisory Council;

(b)

appointment of the person to act as:

(i)

the Chair or another member of the Board; or

(ii)

the Principal Member or another member of the Advisory Council;

(c)

grant of leave of absence for the person for a period that exceeds 3 months under section 131 or 151;

(d)

resignation of the person as a Board member or a member of the Advisory Council;

(e)

termination of the person’s appointment as a Board member or a member of the Advisory Council.
