58 Obligations not affected by State or Territory laws
Subject to subsection (2), nothing in a law of a State or a Territory prevents a person from:
giving information; or
producing a document; or
giving evidence;
that the person is required to give or produce to the Agency, an Agency officer, the Commissioner or a Commission officer for the purposes of this Act.
Despite subsection (1), a person is not required to give information, produce a document or give evidence to the Agency, an Agency officer, the Commissioner or a Commission officer for the purposes of this Act if:
the person would, apart from subsection (1), be prevented from doing so under a law of a State or Territory; and
the law of the State or Territory is prescribed by the National Disability Insurance Scheme rules for the purposes of this paragraph.
