10 Functions of the National Focal Point
The functions of the National Focal Point are the following:
(a)
to liaise with responsible Commonwealth, State or Territory bodies in relation to public health events of national significance;
(b)
to liaise with and be accessible to the World Health Organization and States Parties at all times for the purposes of giving effect to the International Health Regulations;
(c)
to liaise with responsible Commonwealth, State or Territory bodies for the purposes of giving effect to the International Health Regulations;
(d)
any other functions given to the National Focal Point under:
(i)
this Act or the regulations; or
(ii)
any other Act.
