Overview of Division
(1)
This Division contains provisions allowing warrants to be issued in relation to residential premises for the purposes of finding out whether Part IV, V, VI or VII has been complied with or for the collection of evidential material.
(2)
There is a special process available for the issue of warrants in urgent cases (see section 18MZB).
(3)
Warrants are issued by magistrates in their personal capacity.
