Before giving a corporate plan to the Minister under section 35 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, the members must prepare a draft corporate plan and give it to the Ministerial Council.

The members must consult the National Environment Protection Council in relation to the preparation of the draft corporate plan. This subsection has effect in addition to, and not instead of, section 9.

Subsection 35(3) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (which deals with the Australian Government’s key priorities and objectives) does not apply to a corporate plan prepared by the members.
