195 Parts of the Register may be kept confidential
Public interest test
(1)
Section 194 does not apply to a part of the Register if the Registrar is satisfied that it would not be in the public interest for information in that part of the Register to be available to the public.
Concerns of Aboriginal peoples or Torres Strait Islanders
(2)
In determining whether it would or would not be in the public interest for information in that part of the Register to be available to the public, the Registrar must have due regard to the cultural and customary concerns of Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islanders.
