Native Title Act 1993

In considering, for the purposes of making a decision under this Division in relation to a particular area, whether a body will satisfactorily perform, or is satisfactorily performing, its functions as a representative body, the Commonwealth Minister must take into account whether, in the Commonwealth Minister’s opinion, the body will comply with, or is complying with, section 203BA (which deals with how functions of representative bodies are to be performed).

This section does not limit any other matters that the Commonwealth Minister may take into account in making a decision under this Division.
