60A Overview of Part
This Part has the rules for making:
applications to the Federal Court for native title determinations, revised native title determinations and compensation: see Division 1; and
various other applications to the Federal Court: see Division 1A; and
applications to the National Native Title Tribunal under the “right to negotiate” provisions in Subdivision P of Division 3 of Part 2: see Division 2;
applications to the Native Title Registrar objecting against registration of certain indigenous land use agreements: see Division 2A.
There are also some general rules that apply to the various kinds of application: see Division 3.
Basically, the provisions set out who may make the different kinds of application, what they must contain and what is to be done when they are made.
