118 Falsely describing the sender of dangerous goods
A person contravenes this subsection if:
dangerous goods are or will be carried on a vessel; and
the person describes the sender of the goods:
on the packaging containing the goods; or
on any document relating to the carrying of the goods; and
the description is false or misleading in a material particular.
Fault‑based offence
A person commits an offence if the person contravenes subsection (1).
Penalty: Imprisonment for 12 months or 60 penalty units, or both.
Civil penalty
A person is liable to a civil penalty if the person contravenes subsection (1).
Civil penalty: 600 penalty units.
