152 Certain vessels taken to be registered
(1)
For the purposes of this Chapter, an unregistered vessel flying the flag of a country is taken to be registered in that country.
(2)
If a vessel is in the course of construction, or the construction of a vessel has been completed, and the vessel:
(a)
has not been registered and is not flying the flag of a country; and
(b)
is intended to be registered in a particular country;
the vessel is taken, for the purposes of this Chapter, to be registered in that country.
