169 Unlicensed person performing duties of licensed pilot or pilotage provider
A person contravenes this subsection if:
the person performs duties of a licensed pilot or a licensed pilotage provider that are prescribed by the regulations; and
the person is not a licensed pilot or a licensed pilotage provider, as the case may be.
Fault‑based offence
A person commits an offence if the person contravenes subsection (1).
Penalty: 60 penalty units.
For the purposes of subsection (2), strict liability applies to paragraph (1)(b).
For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code.
Civil penalty
A person is liable to a civil penalty if the person contravenes subsection (1).
Civil penalty: 600 penalty units.
