40 CEO’s functions
The CEO is responsible for the day‑to‑day administration of the Authority.
The CEO also has the following functions:
to assist the Board in the performance of the Board’s functions;
to administer Part 5 (Energy industry jobs plan);
any other functions conferred on the CEO by this Act or any other law of the Commonwealth;
to do anything incidental or conducive to the performance of any of the above functions.
The CEO is to act in accordance with the objectives, strategies and policies determined by the Board under paragraph 19(1)(b).
Objectives, strategies and policies determined by the Board in relation to Part 5 (Energy industry jobs plan) must be of a general nature only (see subsection 19(3)).
The CEO has power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done for or in connection with the performance of the CEO’s functions.
