72 Minister may request reports and advice
The Minister may request the following:
that the CEO provide to the Minister a report or advice on a matter relating to any of:
the CEO’s functions, powers or duties; or
the Authority’s functions, powers or duties;
that the Board provide to the Minister a report or advice on a matter relating to any of the Board’s functions, powers or duties.
A request under subsection (1) must be in writing. The Minister may include in such a request terms of reference (including time frames) for the report or advice.
The CEO or the Board (as applicable) must comply with such a request.
The Board is responsible for ensuring the CEO complies with a request made under this section (see subsection 19(1)).
A request is not a legislative instrument.
The Minister may withdraw or amend such a request at any time before the relevant report or advice is given to the Minister.
