194 OEI inspectors—reimbursement for exercise of powers relating to the Registrar
Scope
This section applies if an OEI inspector:
engages in activities that are preparatory to the exercise, or the possible exercise, of a power for a purpose that relates to the powers or functions of the Registrar; or
exercises a power for a purpose that relates to the powers or functions of the Registrar.
Reimbursement
The Regulator and the Registrar may, with the agreement of the Minister and by notifiable instrument, make a determination that provides that an amount worked out in accordance with the determination is, on a day worked out in accordance with the determination, to be debited from the Offshore Infrastructure Registrar Special Account.
The Commonwealth must pay a corresponding amount to the Regulator (see paragraph 186(1)(d)).
