Service of documents

Current

If:

(a)

this Act provides for a document to be served on, or given or sent to, a person; and

(b)

the person has given the Registrar an address in Australia or New Zealand for service;

the document may be served on, or given or sent to, the person by a prescribed means to that address.

Note:

After the time specified in regulations made for the purposes of subsection 3(2), the address may be an electronic address: see subsections 3(2), (5) and (6).
