Clause 42‑1 applies in relation to chestnuts that are exported on or after 1 July 2025, whether the chestnuts are harvested before, on or after that day.
Amendments made by Primary Industries (Customs) Charges Amendment (Chestnuts, Passionfruit and Stone Fruit) Regulations 2026

Clause 42‑3, as amended by Schedule 1 to the Primary Industries (Customs) Charges Amendment (Chestnuts, Passionfruit and Stone Fruit) Regulations 2026, applies in relation to chestnuts that are exported on or after 1 October 2026, whether the chestnuts are harvested before, on or after that day.
