Approval and tabling of corporate plans
26 Approval and tabling of corporate plans
A corporate plan prepared by the Council under section 35 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 must be given to the Minister for approval:
at least 3 months (the approval period) before the start of the period to which the corporate plan relates; or
if the Minister allows a shorter approval period in special circumstances—before the start of that approval period.
The corporate plan comes into force:
the day on which it is approved by the Minister; or
the day of commencement of the period to which it relates;
whichever is the later.
The corporate plan must be laid before each House of the Parliament within 15 sitting days of that House after approval by the Minister of the plan.
