68 Disposal of things
(1)
The relevant chief executive may dispose of a thing seized under this Part if:
(a)
the relevant chief executive has taken reasonable steps to return the thing to a person; and
(b)
either:
(i)
the relevant chief executive has been unable to locate the person; or
(ii)
the person has refused to take possession of the thing.
(2)
The relevant chief executive may dispose of the thing in such manner as the relevant chief executive thinks appropriate.
