163 Object of Part
The object of this Part is:
(a)
not to apply this Act to the period of 3 months commencing on 1 January 2001; but
(b)
to apply this Act to the period of 9 months commencing on 1 April 2001 as if that period were the whole of the year commencing on 1 January 2001.
This means that the Act does not apply to electricity generated before 1 April 2001.
